I wrote the lyric to this 12-bar blues as a tribute to the golden age of jazz. I always wondered what it would be like to sit in a club surrounded by jazz greats. So this song is a fabulation of sorts where I go back in time and invite the listeners to hang out or "cop a squat" in a fabled NYC jazz spot.
