For several months, I have listened to "Thinking of You" on a local radio station in Jackson, MS. The first time I heard it and every time after, I've had to stop what I was doing to fully listen to that song. I was so disappointed to find out the CD was not available in the local stores. I was informed that it would be available in Be-Bop on 10/7/07. On that day, I rushed there after work, but they did not have it in stock. I had them to special order it for me. A few days later, I went to another BeBop and it was not in stock. I requested another special order (for a friend). Yesterday, finally - I received the call that (1) was in at the first store I contacted. I rushed over, got it and cannot seem to stop listening to the entire CD - over and over. It is such great listening!! It was well worth the wait. My question is - why has it not been available for purchase in this area?

Where have been? TRUE MUSIC FANS have been waiting for you my friend. It's about time you arrived. Your on your way to being amongst the rankings as the late LVD. My grandmother used to say "When someone leaves, it's just God's way of making room for someone else." And Mr. Victor Fields-you have arrived. As I was driving in my car and feeling alittle blue. I heard this smooth and sexy, deep and sensual (and yet oh so very masculine) voice come across my radio. As,I listened more to the lyrics, it hit me, this was the way that I was feeling and at that particular time to boot. Over a guy who I've have known for about 10 yrs. We break up, get back, break up and the cycle has repeated itself far to many times to mention. But we always seem to find each other again. I wanted to call him and tell him to listen out for this song "Thinking of You" and this new dude named Victor Fields, because there is a message behind it. A (MY) message to him. It's being spoken (sung) by Victor, but the words are ever so mine. Ever since then, I have gone CRAZY trying to get find this CD. I'm a jazz and smooth R & B fanatic and I just have to tell you, your like a breath of fresh air to fans like me around the globe (and it don't hurt nobody that your fine to boot-LADIES!!) I haven't had the pleasure of seeing you in concert (YET!!) But, the next time your in the DC area, I'll be sitting in the front row!! So, here's to you. Much, much more continued success and Victor, the best has yet to come. The doors are now open. So Victor, all you have to do now is walk through them. Last night, I had a spiritual awakening and very moving experience…I heard Victor Fields for the first time at the “Sugar Bar,” in Manhattan. Growing up on jazz and all genres of music in Detroit, I believe I have a good and critical ear. Victor’s voice and stylistic interpretation of a song, especially on his original, “Promise” literally lifted me from my seat. As a result I purchased a copy of his first CD after the standout show and am listening to it for the umpteenth time as I write in the Guestbook. Victor, you have acquired a new fan. I look forward to expanding my collection with your remaining CDs.

Hello Cuz, this is great! We like the new design and the pics. The press reviews are awesome. We rotate playing the CDs regularly. There is a new jazz channel in town, 106.9FM and the previous one is no longer the jazz channel. Hopefully you will be on that new station some day. The sound of Victor Fields is pleasing and relaxing. We love it. Keep up the great sounds.
